Last, their design tolerances are atrocious; I'm constantly unsure if the poorly designed plastic parts are going to break off when I adjust them. Fifth, the "laser color" quality is poor; I have seen better with an inkjet. Fourth, I constantly get errors when trying to print envelopes -- I now have to manually feed them to get them to print.
I rarely leave feedback and only do so when a product falls into either extreme of performance -- very good good or horrible. Second, its customer support is terrible, and its instructions for setting up a wireless network are poor. Those who rated this product favorably must have low expectations for things on which they spend sizable amounts of money.
Third, it fails to do the very job it was designed to perform -- it can't print an envelope without creasing it so as to make the envelope look horrible. Don't waste your money. In this case, the product is horrible.
To start, it makes a lot of noise, not as bad as a vacuum cleaner, but close.
It's a nice compact size, and prints our color labels great. That's where I found this Brother Color Laser and it is absolutely perfect. We couldn't be happier. Our business needed a color laser and I was at a loss where to start. I wasn't happy with Staples, so I looked on good ol' Amazon.com.
Just follow the instruction on CD, no issues. was a pain to carry into the house, and when I got in, noticed it recommended two people carry it.
Takes a few seconds to warm up.Text is crisp and sharp. When in sleep mode it is silent.
Bought this printer for some light home office and medium church duties. You can set your printing jobs up and walk away knowing it's not going to jam, or misprint, or any other problems.it just works. The printer is heavy.
Now I can print Briefs from home instead of having to come into the office before heading to Clerk's office. Setup is rather a breeze (USB).
Haven't tried the wireless setup or wired network setup, yet.Color printing is dull, but with a little tweaking of the printer's setting they come out as good as ink-jet.This printer just works, that's what we needed.
Saves a lot of paper. Especially like the duplex feature. Doesn't have quite the vivid colors that our large HP color laser printer does, but for the price, the Brother can't be beat. We got this as a second/backup ptinter. It works great.
However shortly after the quick simple install, sent over page after page totaling more than 500 pages. Color quality was excellent. For the price we were happy especially having a built in duplex and wifi. 1st day out of the box, installed as network printer in 10 minutes and printed out 500+ pages without a hiccup. I ended up ordering a backup supply of toners (all colors). You get a lot with this little printer. Awesome. This was our 1st color laser so we were skeptical.
